I ordered this for my new 15" Macbook Pro, I was slightly worried as the above review said it would not hold their 15" laptop. When I first got it out the box, I almost thought I had made a mistake. It is smaller than it seems in the picture, and the black base only covers the central section of my laptop leaving a few inches either side. The arms also did not appear to extend that much to allow gripping to the sides of the laptop.However, a bit of perseverance and I found this is actually a really good design. If you look at the photo on amazon, the arms are only providing cover on the top and bottom of the laptop not the sides. The base of the table has foam grips which work really well.. My laptop actually felt absolutely solid without the need for the arms, however as I play in a band using Mainstage I wasn't going to take the risk. With a bit of playing with the arms I found a really good grip of the laptop, using the bottom arms to guard the laptop from slipping down off the table, and using the top arms (with a bit of fiddling) to cover the sides of the laptop.One thing that struck me is that it is quite heavy for what it is, and weight is quite a big thing for me carrying stuff around gigging a lot! However for the price, I wouldn't have expected a flimsy thing it is very solid!I'm knocking a star off because the like I said, the picture makes it appear bigger than what it is, the mousepad seems to be unusable for a mouse.. and I can't imagine a mouse would even be able to move around that much on it (they must have found a small mouse for the picture, and even that looks cramped!), to be honest I find this feature quite useless!All in all though, a good buy as expected from Quik Lok

A good, sturdy, and useful laptop stand. Easy to adapt the height of the stand, even with the laptop is already on it.

A great product, not the cheapest of this type of product but the quality is first class. Sturdy and adjustable in height, tilt and rotation you will be able to find the optimum position for your laptop. The mouse tray tucks away if not needed (but does impinge slightly on the adjustments for the laptop sliders) but I used mine to hold a lamp! I have a widescreen 17" + laptop and I found the sliders adjusted well and soon were snugly holding it in place. They are helped with a grippy rubber section on the laptop tray. Very pleased, I will feel the benefits long after I have forgotten that it wasn't the cheapest buy.
