I have always had problems with my lower back so walking long distances was difficult and working all day in busy kitchens left me in agony. On some shifts I had to lie down my back was so bad - these MTB shoes have worked magic for me, I wish I had found them 30 years ago. Yes they are heavy and they sure aren't the sexiest shoes around but for anyone who is on their feet all day they are a little bit of magic. You do have to wear them in and get used to your new posture and the way they make you walk but for me they have been fantastic. Expensive?I have had mine for 2 years and worn them nearly every day at work and at home so I haven't bought a pair every month trying to get comfort so there is some saving on repeated outlay.I can now where heels and sexy shoes when I go out - which I couldn't do before and walk.

Although they are very comfortable at first, they are extremely heavy and slightly narrow, which make them hard to wear for more than an hour. They also change your way of walking so you have ot be conscious of every step. Would I buy another pair? No. Too expensive and not comfortable enough.

I have been wearing MBTshoes for years and if you get fitted for them properly they are the comfiest shoes ever. I have the Tunisha style and wear them all day at work 9- 6 pm. Fantastic shoes,
