I saw this Head unit in a car mag, googled it and fell for it in an instant. It was just what I didnt know I was looking for. Until then anyway! I knew Amazon were a reliable source as I got a few other items through here and all was great. So a couple of days later it was with me. I fitted it the next day and after playing with it found it to be short of its description. The sound is superb through my standard speakers (Skyline)and I havent run it through a sub yet. The controls are great and the menu almost easy to understand. The short fall: It wont allow you to change the illumination like it says on the box. Thats for the 503 model?? I can find no reference in the handbook on how to pair up with my mobile phone. Again its says it can on the box? (maybe I am missing something) ??? But I am sure that isnt the case. Lastly...This model has no USB just an AUX audio input ( A bit old fashioned if you ask me) so if this is a requirment of yours then you had better get the 503. All in all its a great unit and the sound is right up there with a great deal of much more expensive units. If you want clarity and performance from an affordable stereo head unit and further more a double din then this is a must IMO. OK it aint got a DVD or TV and it wont tell you when to turn right next but for music this carries the Kenwood name very well.vini
