Product Description
The Weathereye Professional Touch Screen Weather Station combines the various instruments necessary for you to monitor a wealth of weather information from the comfort of your own home. Ideal for the enthusiast, study, research, and science and garden projects.
The outdoor instrument assembly measures Temperature, Humidity, Atmospheric Pressure, Rainfall and Wind Speed and Direction and transmits the data wirelessly to the stylish display console indoors.
The supplied software allows you to download and track weather information in real time providing a better understanding of the changing environment. A full series of weather data, with time-stamp, is recorded automatically and data analysis and graph plotting can be carried out on the PC. The data can also be exported for use with other software applications.
The attractive console complements any home setting and the clear and easy-to-read numbers and icons provide access to all information at a glance.
User defined warning alarms can be set for all the weather elements measured. These can alert you to, for example, low outdoor temperatures, which could harm delicate plants, or high winds that could damage outdoor equipment.

Weather-Eye radio controlled weather station
By John the Bush
This is a great device and has given me great data for the past 2 years. The PC software does let it down a little as it is not very flexible, but you can always download the data and use Excel to process it. My biggest dissapointment is the manual which if fine as far as it goes but is very basic. It does not cover common problems which can be frustrating. I have yet to discover how to zeroise total rainfall and max wind speed data. The rain is specially irritating as I like to monitor on an annual basis. Otherwise an excallent product.

Weather-Eye
By brucen
My wife gave me one of these for Christmas. Unfortunately the transmitter started playing up after a couple of weeks and Weather-Eye do not provide a phone number and have not replied to my emails. However, Amazon replaced the whole unit within 24 hours of me contacting them which is excellent service. The item might look a little 'plasticy' at first sight but even in the short time I have had it it has stood up to some atrocious weather with ease. The data appears to be very accurate and there are a host of settings enabling the display to show what you want it to. A another reviewer has already said the packaged software, Easy Weather, is not that advanced and the Cumulus freeware package is much better and works seamlessly with this unit. Cumulus also has a comprehensive help section which is sadly lacking with Easy Weather. The instruction manual is not great but the unit is so simple to operate that this hardly matters. The base station is very solid and quite stylish - much better than some other I have seen. All in all a great product.
