I had originally bought this Solid State Disk with the intention of booting Windows 7 from it on my laptop. Unfortunately Windows set-up will not recognise it as a permanent media you can install Windows on. No fault of the product itself and it serves as a handy second hard disk neatly tucked away in the Express Card slot.I find it handy for working on files that are constantly being accessed from disk. Freeing up the laptops own internal hard disk which can be a bit slow.A word of warning, first check to see if your laptop uses PCMIA or Express Card (which this is) slots before ordering.
