I bought this because I wanted to be able to wax myself at home and save a bit of money! This kit is great to get you started and has everything you need for a good wax. I love that it comes with a wax cleaner because the first time you do it, it can get messy and very sticky!A great wax warmer, exactly the same (just smaller if you go for the 500cc size) as they use in salons.An excellent product all round and a great price.

Waxing at the salon is expensive, and unless you really know trust and rate your beauty therapist, can be a disappointment. I remember lying on the couch, having booked a full leg wax with one, who looked at my legs then said "oh I won't do the tops of your legs cos you haven't really got much hair there anyway" Ummm. It's my legs my choice for me. Home waxing means you can do what you want done. If you haven't done it before it's quite a steep learning curve but as long as you can make like Madonna and get your legs round the back of your head to do the difficult bits it's easy. Only joking! I bought this set for a beginner who has given me happy feedback despite being a bit klutzy with practical things. Go on, buy it. It's such a lovely feeling being smooth All Over :)

I have been waxing my legs at home with a water rinseable wax for some years but always struggled keeping the wax warm enough. I would either make the wax too hot or it would go on too thickly and worse still didn't always remove the hair. I took the plunge and bought this starter kit and wish I'd done it years ago. Once the wax was heated to the correct temperature it was a breeze. The wax was a much better quality than I had been buying in the supermarket and efficiently removed the hairs. You do have to be careful not to get the wax everywhere as it is very sticky. I did not feel the pre-wax lotion or after wax lotion would be an essential part of the kit but was pleasantly surprised by these products. They smellgreat and I would consider buying them again. All in all this product is going to save me a lot of money in the long term and it is so convenient being able to wax at home whenever I need to. I would definitely recommend this kit to anyone considering waxing at home.
