This is a very stylish and sleek looking pen. The black lacquer is extrmely smooth and luxurious to touch. Just right weight and thickness, and writes very smoothly. I have also purchased Parker Black Gold trim fountain pen £14.95 which writes very well but looks ordinary compared to this Sonnet which definitely has more expensive appearance. It would work well for both men and women but for its sleekness, I think this pen is particularly suited for ladies.

It's a basic fountain pain and at the same time gorgeous. The only thing I would change is the thickness of writing but one gets used to it and the calligraphy becomes also very interesting.The pen came already with a parker converter.
