I have just taken delivery of this wall-mount unit, and it does look good in real life (although I haven't mounted it yet). I got it to go with a wall mount for my television, the Duronic PLB109M which I have also reviewed.The unit is quite simple to mount, with the pillar at the back fixing to the wall with three screws (I'd be happier if there were a couple more, personally, but I guess they have tested it thoroughly). There are channels on either side of this pillar through which you can run cables, keeping them tidy, and these channels have a reasonable amount of room although you'd have a job putting more than one high-quality SCART lead through them, for example (as they tend to be quite chunky). Still, they will certainly cope with a few smaller cables - to give you an idea, I can fit my ring finger into the channel but not my middle finger.The shelves themselves look very nice, in black glass. I was slightly surprised at how narrow they are - they are about 1 inch wider on either side than a standard width DVD or similar AV equipment (checked against my Sony BDP-S350 and Cambridge Audio 840A / 840C), so you won't be putting much on either side of your AV boxes.But...that's probably a good thing, because the permissible weight mentioned in Amazon's product description is wrong. Both the product packaging and the company's website give a figure of 10kg per shelf, instead of the 15kg stated here. I'm particularly unhappy about this because that's the reason why I ordered this unit - my Cambridge Audio 840A amplifier weighs 15kg, and most other wall-mounted shelf units are also rated at 10kg per shelf. If you're looking for one of these, do check the weight of your amp (likely to be the heaviest component) - most standard home amps are no more than 10kg, but if you start going upmarket, they can get pretty heavy.I think I will mount it anyway, and put the amp on the bottom shelf so that it won't bring everything crashing down in case the shelf does break. In the meantime, I'll give the product four stars, because it does look like an attractive and solid product as long as the weight limitation isn't an issue.** UPDATE ** I did mount it, which was quite easy, and have put the amp on the bottom shelf, which I have supported by putting a small wooden rod underneath. I have never dared to take it off and let the shelf support the full 15kg of the amp but it doesn't bother me too much. The cable run in the wall support is totally insufficient for my needs, but I've tucked and tied all the cables neatly behind the units, and that's fine. I have my amp, CD player (which is rather large), BD player, Wii, Xbox and satellite tuner on the shelves - that's about as much as they can comfortably take. In the end, I'm quite satisfied although I note that the Amazon product description is still wrong, stating 15kg per shelf. Still think four stars is fair; it's not everything I'd like, but there's no reason to hesitate if you think it will fit your needs.

This shelving is perfect it holds an LG Blu-ray Player (most shelves are too narrow), and various media boxes hard drives etc. All of the cables for the TV, HDMI, Optical SPDIF Audio Cable, etc are concealed in the vertical support. The shelves can be equally spaced or set at differing distances has required. This is a good piece of kit.

This item looks beautiful and saves so much space. It was very easy to assemble and looks great - the shelves are very deep which allows for scart leads, etc. I would definitely recommend this product to friends.
