Very easy to use with almost effortless operation, robust and safe with double handrails and comfortably wide treads.

One of the best sliding aluminium loft ladders available, ideal for daily domestic and commercial use. They are suited for domestic use where a very safe and sturdy ladder is required and are widely used in many commercial installations.

The spring counterbalanced action on nylon slides makes for smooth, silent and effortless operation. The two section ladder raises and lowers with the trapdoor. Comfortable, extra wide 77mm deep flat, non-slip, angled treads allow for easy and safe climbing and two large safety handrails are fitted along the full length of the ladders.

Installation is pretty much straightforward. Pivot arms and heavy duty springs are attached to the loft floor, the ladder also attaches to the hatch edge and upper face of the hatch door. All the fittings required for installation are delivered with the ladders as is an operating pole for convenient and safe ladder lowering.

Manufactured to BS EN 14975 Kitemark standard with a duty rating of 150 kg / 23 st 6 lb.

Well Built & Great Laft Ladder

Quality written all over it, strong, robust and well made. Only down side are the instructions. Not very clear and need to double check at each stage, some of the measurements positions are not clear. When fitted it is a fantastic product. Slides well. Would recommend to a friend.

Good sturdy ladder

This is a good strong ladder and I am very happy with the end result.Had a few problems following some of the instructions which are mainly diagrams, and I could not get it to fold up and down smoothly. It seems that the plastic sliders do not run freely enough in the channels and when you pull it down the ladder is trying to swing in 2 different arcs from the loft attachments and the hatch hinges. However, after adjusting the position slightly from the recommended dimensions and giving it a good dose of silicon lubricant it is now working ok. I also had to add a spacer to the safety catch as it kept missing the slot and would jam.Brilliant service by supplier. Ordered pm and it arrived the next morning at 08.30

Good substantial ladder - practical knowledge required to install

Basically the title says it all. The instructions are mainly pictorial and require careful study. You'll find the instructions suggest the wrong screws in one or two places and I also had to change the stop positions once the ladder was in place. Like other reviewers, I found the ladder 'stiff' in operation and I've yet to resolve this. Having said that, better that the ladder is stiff than it slides too easily and becomes dangerous to use. Once installed it is without doubt a very study ladder with wide and deep steps.
