This Digital Dictation kit is great value for money.This purchase was a trial to see if these kits were worth buying in bulk. Its a much cheaper option than purchasing a very expensive "Brand name" dedicated network dictation setup. After completing my testing I am happy to say that its fantastic and does everything I want.DICTATE - The microphone on the recorder is very sensitive and you don't need to hold it anywhere near your mouth when dictating. The controls are very easy to use.SOFTWARE - The software proveded in the kit is both "Dictate" and "Transcribe". Its easy to install and use. Please note that the software comes preconfigured with "email linking" between dictate and transcribe only (i.e. - you have to email the dictation files to the transcribe PC). If you want to run it over a network (like I have), then you will need to write a simple batch file to transfer (move or copy) the files from the dictate PC to your transcribe (secretaries) PC. Very easy to do and the Digital Dictation software picks up the dictations as soon as you copy them in to the correct folder. I am very supprised at how easy and adaptable this software is to use.TRANSCRIBE - The USB footpedal has loads of configuration options, and is very easy to use. The headphones are clear and the dictations are crystal clear to listen to. The software is very easy to use.In summary, I am very happy and will be buying more.From Mitch
