Really nice entry level laptop. Pretty much everything set-up when it arrives, it looks good and just works like it says it will. Good set of features and components, typical Sony quality, the screen in particular is bright and v. clear. Bought one for my daughter for christmas, with 1 hour we had added ITunes and MSN and were registered, updated and ready to go.

This laptop is easy to setup very fast and i cant believe how light weight the sony vaio. The bundled software is very easy to use.Battery life is good vista says 2 hours 30 mins on a full charged batteryI cant fauly the sony vaio nr38m.It had a lot of memory to store those photos music and videos. It is good enough to encode and edit home movies play games listen to music and chat too your friends on msn and surinf the net. It is very stylish too.I have had sony products in the past and i would have to say sony have never let me down with any of their products.

I bought this computer for my teenager - a great buy - itsw hardwearing and strong - not heavy but not flimsy- good memory and power and a year later very happy customer - it looks great and does everything a computer should do well at a good price- he loves it and uses it lots .
