One of my best gadgets
By Jonny
I was surprised to see several negative reviews for this product as I have nothing but praise for it. I have had the radio for over a year now and use it daily without any problems. I originally bought it just to listen to "digital" radio in my kitchen (I don't have a DAB signal so needed to access via WiFi) but use it for so much more than that.Pros (aside from the obvious....i.e. you can access Internet Radio!)- It's a one stop Audi Media Centre. You can stream your music collection either from your PC/MAC or directly from a NAS. The player supports UPnP (Universal Plug n Play) so if you have networked storage you don't even need your computer turned on to access your entire music collection- The radio has standard RCA jacks on the back so I can plug it directly into my aux socket on my amplifier and no longer need to dig out my CDs. I am now in the process of digitising my entire collection!- Battery life is very very good- Website (used to choose favourites, new stations, set genres, etc) is extremely user friendly. The radio automatically links to this site so you can use this as your user interface- User support is superb on the two occassions I have had compatibility questions- Portability- SoundNegatives (these are niggles really....I still have to give the radio 5/5)- Media Player does not support Windows 7. If you try to stream from this OS the player won't see the files. Unfortunate but I'm sure later releases will have this covered.- WiFi antennae isn't great. My laptop gets a signal where the radio doesn'tStill, if you like music I would (and have) recommend this to anyone

Snag with streaming music from Apple laptop
By M. Axworthy
I had intended to use the device for streaming music from my Apple laptop to my hifi, which according to the makers is possible ("stream music from your PC or MAC"). Howeverit turns out that although the device can read the files on the laptop it does not in fact support the AAC encoding format (the default format on iTunes), so it can't actually play any of the tracks. If one selects a track the display reads

REVO /Pico IR
By marcus miles
My purchase requirements centre around freqent travel. Mostly I think if I am going for portability I lose sound quality....Pico disproves this fear...it has such a delightful and tall sound...and I have hi fi systems context. Compact as a brick , light as a feather....and feels very sturdy in chasis and operation.Getting started is simple with the guidance supplied . My priority was for travelling but this has been good company at home too ,used in a large room it still fits the bill. Spoke to REVO in Scotland prior to purchase for fact finding...and they were grand for help .The downside .....there isn`t !!
