Excellent product. Very easy to use, intuitive interface, easy to download to my laptop/PC via teh built in USB connector. I use Winodws PC, so not sure how good it would be with a Mac as it records in Windows Media Audio format. Once on my laptop I can burn files via Woindows Media Player to an audio CD, so can be played on any CD player. It doesn't have to be burnt as Windows Media.As a lapel microphone, I would recommend the Olympus ME51S. The alternative mono mics are fine, but if you playback via headphones, you only get sound in your left ear. The built-in mic works really well if you can hold the voice recorder in your hand and use it, however if you need a lapel, then not so good.Highly recommend it.

Good tiny thing, light weighted. Smaller & lighter than even I thought about. Comes with 2 Olympus rechargeable batteries so you can start using straight way, if want. Not sure about the longevity as all the parts seems made by plastic. May not be suitable for 'heavy-duty' or 'Regular Use'.Still, a good purchase I should say.

I believe it is very nice device; however, I found it difficult to have more than 5 folders as you have only folders A, B, C, D and E. Furthermore, you cannot rename the folder. However, in general the sound and recorder are ideal for students and who what to make an interview as it is easy to carry and recharge.
