I just got this watch as a present for myself. i read the review on it being large and having to get links taken out, but i thought that perhaps the lady had a particularly small wrist. However, i will have to get at least 2 links taken out of the watch and I have an average to large wrist size. That's not a real problem, just something to be aware of. The watch is a lovely strong gold colour and looks very well on. Overall i am very pleased with it.

The watch looks good but the wrist strap is quite long and only last 2 links at the end (of each side) can be used to adjust length. If your wrist is not thin then it would be fine otherwise you might have to live with a loosely fitted watch.Also its a bit less stylish and you you won't be able to 'flash' the brand so easily.

I was looking for a watch and my two options were this D&G Scotland one and a bit cheaper watch by Moschino Cheap & Chic. I chose this one because it looked more fancy and elegant. I received the watch today and was disappointed that the presentation box it came in was dirty (I LOVE Amazon, but products from their warehouse are often dusty) - I wish they had kept it wrapped in cellophane to avoid the stains as I like to keep the original boxes of jewelry (and I don't think I'm going to keep this one). I expect watches from China to come in a cheap box that I throw out later and not D&G ones. Plus, if you bought the watch as a gift for someone, you wouldn't want to hand a dirty box, right? The watch looks nice, but I expected it to be darker and less yellowish and shiny so that I can wear it basically with anything. Next thing, it's way too large for my small wrist and even if you do take a couple of links out (haven't figured out how to though), the watch forms a rather weird shape (not like a circle, but bit rectangular). It's not a bad watch, but I wish I had chosen the Moschino one (although their watches also often come rather large). HOWEVER, the retail price for this watch is £225.00 and I bought it on sale for £57.15 + had an Amazon voucher of £10 OFF watches, so in the end I paid £47.15 and the shipping was free (came very quickly). It is a lovely watch for the price I paid, although I would never buy it for the original price (I guess you just pay for the name). Anyway, if you have time and you look around the internet, you can find great deals on watches like this (Nectar points, 70% OFF, Christmas savings etc.) DKNY, Breil and Sekonda also had some great watches on sale. To sum up, it is a nice watch because: it cost very little, it's quality, it has 2 year warranty and it looks quite nice on the wrist. The downfalls would be: larger on the size, gold a bit too yellowish (perhaps just a personal preference), dirty box (but for such price, who cares). I'm still not sure whether I'm going to keep it or not, first need to find someone who can take the links out. Don't be put off by my review, because I DO think the watch is nice. I'm just a little picky, because I was looking for a great bracelet watch. I just realized I haven't commented on the time display of this watch! I guess if you try hard you can figure out the correct time (since there are no hours shown), but I really do believe the watch is more supposed to be like a fancy bracelet and I don't really care about the lack of detailed display (and anyway, we all have mobile phones to check the correct time). Long review here for a little watch, huh! I'm giving it 5 stars, because even though it isn't quite what I was looking for, the watch was an absolute bargain! If I rated for the looks, I'd probably give it a 3 or 4, but I think it isn't fair to judge the watch by the fact that it isn't my cup of tea.
