I bought this for my Husbands 50th Birthday. He loves it. In this world you get what you pay for. This a little more expensive than the other hammocks we had bought, but they didn't last very long. This is a superior product. The hammock itself is very strong and padded, the stand is easy to assemble and stayed up. I don't think I will be seeing him much next summer, as he will find a quiet spot in the garden and stay there.

I had decided this would be an ideal and quite unique 50th birthday gift for my husband - a man who has what he needs already so is usually quite difficult to buy for. I then read a review from someone who had done the same and whose husband was delighted.My husband is too. For those moments when he wants to relax in peace and quiet, stretched out under the trees in the garden, there couldn't be a better way.The quality is excellent; the hammock strong and very wide and easy to wipe over; the frame is solid and very easy to construct. There is plenty of width for two of our daughters to lie on it together (11 and 15). The two carry bags that come with it for the poles and taupe hammock are a good addition for storage.Although I wouldn't say this item is cheap, the quality and appearance are very obviously high and because of this I believe the durability will be good.I would highly recommend it.

The hammock was a birthday present for my boyfriend. He says it is excellent, very comfortable, well made and quick and easy to assemble.
