The first time I used one I was impressed, great clarity. It's definately for not doing print work but for digital it's excellent.I'm using with a Macbook Pro and had no problems. East setup. DVD and TV also great.Apple, make a matte version. These are good for people with no light behind, but if you have a window get a blind for it.

I'm going to be lazy by referring the reader to 'Top Cat Tom's' review of this product because I wholeheartedly agree with it. This display works hand-in-glove with an Apple MacBook Pro. The only things I'd add to TCT's review are the following: I have a lot of voice and video conferences with my work, and the audio output, microphone input and webcam video quality offered by this display are top-notch. The same components on the host Macbook Pro are pretty good, but the ones on the display are even better. Putting the speakers on the bottom edge and the microphone on the top edge is no doubt one reason why using this display as part of a speakerphone is so good. Callers comment on the high quality of my voice and do not complain about echo even when I've cranked up the volume. Last things to note: it even works with my Windows7 partition on my MacBook Pro, and HD movies displayed on this screen look so much better than from the Philips LCD TV connected to my Apple Mac Mini in the living room.

This my first Apple Monitor, having had the excellent 20" Dell screens before.Walking around stores looking at the various screens the Apple LED sticks out as the best. Its very sharp, beautiful colours. I have the latest Mac Book Pro and the leads supplied with the screen link to the laptop providing it with power as well as the digital screen connection. I'm new to Mac's. The bluetooth keyboard and Mighty Mouse set up easily. With the Mac open the desktop goes from laptop screen to 24", you can drag between them. wierd! With the laptop closed after some seconds the screen springs to life. It wakes up on moving the mouse or hitting the keyboard.This is the best monitor I've had in 20 years. They keep getting better, the new LED screens are the current biz.
