After returning from Cuba with a few cigars, I was in desperate need to purchase a humidor. After much research, I came across this Adorini humidor. Probably my favourite 2010 buy so far.Pros:- Excellent high quality matte finish (see customer photos)- Conspicuous- Magnetic lid holds hygrometer and humidifier- Ribbed interior keeps air flowing around cigars- Excellent value for money. I discovered that cheaper humidors available in the UK could be purchased for 1/2 the price in the US. Yet this humidor was roughly priced the same in the UK and the US, which indicates great valueCons:- Make sure you calibrate the hygrometer when you first receive your humidor, and repeat calibration every few months at start- Humidifier gold-plating scratches easily when unscrewing lid for distilled water top-up- My humidifier tends to over-humidify for 2 reasons: 1) I have too few cigars in the box 2) Grill was not flush with humidifier's gold-plated lid, allowing humidity to flow out of the humidifier. I resolved this by squeezing tightly (with my fingers) on the two rivets holding the grill against humidifier's lid. This tightened the grill and made it flush with the lid, which seems to have resolved humidity control.Friends have all admired this humidor and commented on the quality and finish. I would highly recommend it and feel I have made a great investment for the future! 5 stars.

The Adorini deluxe is a beautiful and precise piece of woodwork, with nicely engineered hinges.I live in Newcastle, and the RH is actually pretty near the 65-70% required to store stoggies. Although, this will come down when the central heating kicks in at winter time. You may find the humidity is too high, fix this by warming the wood with a hair dryer on low setting, and if it's too low, then you will have to season it with distilled water - this takes several days for the Humidors internal atmosphere to equllibrate at 65-70%RH.I've given it 4 stars, because you can get for cheaper, by £10, if you go through humidor discount (.com), don't go through the UK site. You will be charged in Euros, but it still works out cheaper, I paid 99euros (£80), they deliver free to UK.All in all a great product.
