Highly advanced 'big bag' for travelling pros
By Martin Turner
The X200 is big enough to carry two pro bodies with vertical grips and half a dozen big pro lenses. It is so deep that you can actually carry a Nikon AF-S 24-70mm/2.8G ED standing vertically, so it takes up no more space than a small prime lens. The moveable compartments are significantly more sturdy than on most camera bags, and the overall feeling is of the best possible protection available short of a rigid frame case. However, it is in the extraordinary range of features which the X200 excels.Briefly:* Built in tripod-carrying system, for front or side* front pocket big enough for a regular 15" laptop or a slimline 17" laptop such as a MacBook Pro* Three special CF card compartments, which help to track which cards are empty and which are full* Numerous document and small component wallets, both inside and outside* Entire main compartment unzips to become a standalone rucksack, freeing up the wheeled shell to be a regular suitcase for clothes, etc.* User exchangeable wheels, which are in any case sturdy and run smoothly* Flash or camera mount hidden in the extensible carrying handle. Probably best for a very small camera, or as a flash mount, but useful nonetheless* Built in locking mechanism that can secure all the zips, and/or lock to a convenient anchor point* Rear stand, so that the bag can be set at an angle for ease of use.* Three carry handles in addition to extensible handle, for ease of handling and stowing* Very attractive 'luggage' look -- won't be out of place at a posh conference, and also does not attract thieves* Inner lining can be unzipped for further cleaning or maintenanceThis is a very serious bag, albeit at a serious price, and will serve well not only as a major road bag, but also as the main storage for a large amount of equipment when not on the road. It is highly 'train friendly', but will be too large for hand luggage on many European flights, so it's worth checking before you travel what the specifications for your flight are. Despite the rip-proof casing, extensive padding and built in security, this is not a hard-shell case and therefore should not be entrusted to hold baggage. This is a superb piece of kit, and if your needs run to requiring this amount of transportation, then this bag is unlikely to disappoint.

all most perfect

This Roller Case has plenty of room for two DSLRs with grips attached, a Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5, a Canon EF-S 17-55mm f2.8 IS, a Canon EF 50mm f1.8, a Canon EF 70-200mm f4 L IS, a Canon EF 300mm f4 L IS, a Canon EF 1.4x III Extender, a Canon EF 100mm F2.8l IS Macro, a Canon EF 24-105mm F4l IS, a Canon EF 100-400mm f4.5-5.6L IS (all with lens hoods attached, albeit inverted) and still has room for a couple of canon speedlites 430EX II and has plenty of storage pockets. It is well padded and has a unique handle that can double up as a flash stand ... the main compartment can be used as a backpack while using the case as a normal case ... the biggest down side of the case, the lock is crap ... I may have been unlucky in getting two duffs, the first from Jessops, they had to cut the lock off to get my equipment out as it jammed, the second from amazon, the combination lock wouldn't set and one of the barrels for the said lock kept jamming ... if you can live without the lock, or get one that doesn't jam, this is a mighty fine case that will whole a hell of a lot of gear.

A BIG AND HEAVY ROLLER CASE
By elica949
I bought this Lowepro Pro Roller X200 in December 2011 and one year later I didn't use it yet at least once.In fact was my fault because I didn't believe in the figures weight 7 kg and in some review saying this suitcase was too big and too heavy. I use to travel with two and sometimes three SLR but I still prefer a backpack. The construction quality is good, nothing against, but remember 7kg is too much when most of airways companies are allowing 8kg as maximum of hand bagage. For me this suitcase is good as storage at home, but I prefer to put a backpack inside a Samsonite Spinner because it is not so heavy and the backpack is more comfortable than this one from Lowepro. So this is an ALERT check first if you need something like this before to buy it.
