Having searched endlessly for a table & chairs and a bench for the garden, I found this hybrid. At the price (£80) I though it was worth the risk. Well, it works - it's sturdy and easy to convert. The first day we had it we had a drink on the bench and then a meal at the table. Brilliant. Only thing is, the table is a little narrow and could have done with an extra slat to make it easier for 4 people to get round. You also have to be careful converting or carrying it as fingers tend to get trapped. Overall, I definitely recommend it.

Amazing design - have seen them on sale elsewhere at more than double the price, so I was a bit wary that the quality might not be too good, but when it arrived I was delighted.The self-assembly instructions were fairly adequate, and it took about an hour to put together, but I'd have been quicker if I'd had a 10ml spanner. Be careful to put the arm-rests on correctly though, because they also act as stability for the table, to stop it collapsing when one person stands up. This wasn't obvious from the instructions, and I did it wrong at first - but a very kind friend worked out what I'd done wrong and re-fitted them, and now it's sturdy and safe.Brilliant piece of patio furniture cos of its space-saving design. Fantastic. 10 out of 10.

Lovely piece of garden furniture, very versatile converting to a picnic table to a bench and so easy to transform, it is the envy of everyone who comes into my back garden, as I show it off, it's a bench...now a picnic table. Well made and very sturdy I love it. x
