I bought this Einhell drill at £60.87. I had previously used a Bosch Hammer Drill, which is fine for drilling into house walls, but could not penetrate a certain dense concrete fence-post. Realising I needed an SDS Drill, I went to Amazon, (and Wikipedia) - both very useful - and spent a long time considering what I could get at a reaonable price.Despite the Einhell not having a review, I selected it over its competetitors chiefly because of its high wattage. I am very pleased to have chosen it. It has cut into several posts, and a concrete path, so incredibly easily - like a dream! I would unreservedly recommend this drill. It comes with three bits of various diameters, and two chisels, (the latter are for cutting channels along walls, which I have not yet tried). I bought another more comprehensive set of bits, (also online), for only £8, to use with it. (All such bits have the same sized shank to fit SDS drills' chucks.) I expect the tool to be an excellent long-term investment, at an econmomical price. It's no noisier than an ordinary drill, though it is heavier than a standard drill, (like many SDS Drills, and not suitable for many women for that reason, I would think), but personally, (as a male DIY-er in my late 50's), I have found it very enjoyable and satisfying to use.

always wanted one of these, hammer drills are a thing of the past, really excells at concrete/ plaster work, too heavy and awkward for woodworking, extras a good bonus, one drawback, two pin plug, easily overcome. Have used better but more expensive sds for concrete breaking, but for the diy enthusiast on a budget, a very nice product

After much investigation of alternate products, went for this product and am pleased to say that it is an excellent product, well made. I have used it on a number of occasions since purchase and have been very impressed with its performance. The device is not light weight but due to the performance blitzes through lintels and brick work with ease in drill mode. When using the chisels same, very efficient. Before inserting drill or chisel lightly grease.Looks and feels well made and robust. This is not a professional product but for heavy DIY use is brilliant.The controls are all obvious and fall easily to hand.Recommended for DIY use; for professional use mileage may vary.
