Get it for sanity's sake!!
By Briar
I got this for my 2 year old for a trip to Spain recently. The villa had an open, unfenced pool so this was a god send! Nothing will replace constant vigilance, but in those odd moments when you get distracted this is an excellent back up and certainly prevents you from going completely nuts from worry if your little one is out of sight for a second! The only down side is that the base on this particular model doesn't run on batteries so you can't use it "in the field" (lakes, sea, public pools....) but it was much cheaper than the alternative and suited our needs perfectly. Siren good and loud and no way you could miss it! Just be warned that if your little one is teething, the hand/wrist tends to go in the mouth and gets saliva all through the wrist unit which will set if off HOWEVER the odd false alarm is well worth the security that this device provides. I just love it.

Life saver!
By Jay
Moving to Cyprus, have a pool in garden, feel so much better to have this divice for my 3 year old daughter, she hates the frog and would like a princess bracelet instead, so would be great if they would make more of a girlie picture on bracelet, just gives me piece of mind though, having it to hand. Everyone that visits has to test it, they all think it's great. Does work but you shouldn't rely on it to do your job of watching the kids, as you just never know, great product though,

Brilliant idea
By pepsipuss
We bought this when 2 year old granddaughter was visiting us in Spain. I much preferred the idea of something that screeches as soon as the wrist gets wet than a motion sensor alarm which has to be switched off when other people are in the pool - it doesn't take long for a toddler to drown even in shallow water and with other children larking about these sensors do not make any sense to me. The only criticism I would make (hence only 4 stars) is that the battery in the bracelet is not replaceable and according to the instructions has a life of only 4 years. That means you have to replace the whole bracelet for GBP35.
