Good bag for a day out, I carry a Canon EOS 40D, with a 17-85MM IS lens, a spare lens, a EX580 flash gun and a pair of good Binoculars in this bag for day trips. It is a tight squeeze but it holds the lot, is well padded in case of knocks and pretty secure. No rain protection apart from the flap over top, but reasonably shower proof. I like this one, in general I have found Crumpler bags well made and sturdy, this is my 3rd one (one went walkabout, the other is a much larger "event" bag which holds ALL my kit, after 3 years it show no real signs of wear!

Its a great bag and I bought the red one too. This bag is made out of really tough material. so you kknow your kits is well protected.I took out all the compartment divider, so i can fit in my netbook, my 50d with grip on a 50mm when i am out on the weekend. The front pouch bit is useful in keeping your keys, phone etc.its not a cheap bag but its what you pay for. I dont need another camera bag cause this one fits the bill.i can use it as a laptop bag, or camera bag or bit of both. Not work bag cause its more suitable when you're wearing jeans with the red colour (sorry for being metro)Its Crumpler, you cant go wrong. A friend bought something similar from some china made one. Its just not right somehow. Its like comparing IPAD with a regular tablet pc.Another thing, the outer material of the bag is very tough and is quite stain resistant to a degree.All you need to decide if this is the right size for you. It is not too big. Without the grip i can carry 2 lens(both detatched), the camera a bottle of water and also a book, all nicely tuff in with the dividers. Or else take the dividers out and stuff eveerything in no problem. Very flexible bag.

I looked around for a less masculine looking camera bag, glad I ordered this colour and size as I can get so much more in it (all girly stuff plus of course, camera and two lens, cable, tiny tripod.)Front pockets for my handy manual, love the Prince of Wales seal!Nice bag and good size - feel that camera kit is well protected so doubt you will get anything this good for the price elsewhere - there is a shortage of nice camera bags for women.
