Had this chef knife for a couple of years now - I can only say it is probably the most used knife in the kitchen for most food dicing and chopping, I have many more quality knives but Global knives are the only manufacturer to produce a rolled edge on their knives (not beveled edge) which means they are harder to manufacture but also sharper than any other. The single billet construction makes it impossible for food to be trapped between blade and handle and so easy to clean as well. This Knife will serve you for the rest of your life with proper care.
