This is the first time I've bought shoes from amazon. I was a bit nervous as I have very awkward feet. I have a disability that means I really need comfy and supportive shoes that accommodate my orthotic insoles and my ridiculously bendy feet. Before now, the wrong shoe/insole combination has resulted in fracturing my foot and or deforming my toes. Despite all this, I am female, and even if I have stupid feet and legs that don't work, I do actually want to look nice (or at the very least, not ugly), and I have an inborn desire for funky footwear. Buying shoes has always been soul (sole?) destroying, until last year when I made the startling discovery that Fly London shoes did actually fit me, opening an avenue to comfortable yet fashionable feet! I decided to choose something from Amazon as they seemed to have a nice selection of Fly boots. The boots came double quick, and when they came out of the box they were a dream come true! The heel is the perfect height - a little bit of height makes the boot more comfortable, but too much and I can't walk. Because of the slight platform on these, they give the impression of being higher than they are. Which is wonderful, because they look really attractive, and I can still walk in them (if you can call my brand of staggering about 'walking'). The whole boot is totally the right shape, supportive but in forgiving soft leather, with a lovely soft lining. They are great quality. They also make your feet look smaller and neater. I wear them with my work trousers and with jeans, they fit both roles equally well. I would say they actually look a bit smarter on than they do in the pictures. I think if you choose these boots you will not be disappointed. The price was great too! I'm very happy, I will definitely be buying more of my shoes this way.

A great pair of very comfortable but slightly quirky boots.I did not find the sizing too small, in fact these seemed a generous size 5/38.

These boots are very comfortable and make your feet look smaller due to the special wedge sole which also gives you added height without the tiredness of feet you will get if you wear ordinary high heels.They feel incredibally stable as you walk, and as the ad shows you can indeed run in them they are that well made and comfy. The laces are good quality and stay done up when in the process of doing them up, unlike some laces which slip and have to be held tight while you tighten them up hole by hole. This makes it quicker and easier when putting them on. I found the leather can scuff quite easily which happened a little when I first bought them but a good layer of polish put that right so probably best to do that as soon as you are sure you are going to keep them.I bought a size 8 which is the usual size I take for boots and shoes and they fitted perfectly.
