This monitor is bright and clear, both for text and pictures. It is easy to set up and adjust. The default brightness setting on arrival was too high (100%), but it is easy to lower this. Its 4:3 ratio means that it takes up little space on the desk and is ideal for people who care little about games and film ratios. Apart from a slightly flimsy-looking base, the monitor is understatedly elegant.

Delighted with it and would recommend.Very minor point is that the on/off button is right in the middle of a row of 5 buttons. So when making adjustments, it's very easy to switch the monitor off by accident!

I was forced to buy a flat screen monitor when my superb CRT packed up....no flat lcd/tft is as goos as CRT let's get that straight, but this is a fair contender at budget price to do it ok......have to say very pleased with this product
