As a background, I have some neglected record decks and little else. I looked around for a system where I could listen to the the Radio, listen to my encoded music /digital media and play my records. So I bought the Sonos 120 and some Monitor Audio BX2's. I plugged it all together, turned on my laptop and 3 minutes later was playing my records via the selectable line in. Sonos detected my laptop, I allowed it to search it and bingo, all my music stored on there was indexed for playback. I logged in via the Sonos Controller software - its really easy to do, and bought Spotify Premium the sound quality (320kbs) is cracking. I now use my iPhone, using the Sonos App, to control everything including setting the Alarm function so I wake up to my favorite Radio station. Its cracking it really is. Im glad I got the 120 and separate speakers, it sounds so much better than the small all in one system and the BX2's are a perfect match.

Just moved house. The previous owners have installed built-in speakers into the ceiling of the main living areas. Needed to find something to provide the music and this does the job with bells on. I also have a NAS attached to my router containing all my music. I can listen to whatever I like wherever I like. Looks good - works great with the iPad controller.Had a slight issue and rang customer services (freephone number) and the BEST customer service I have encountered. Couldn't have been more helpful or knowledgeable.Fantastic product from a company who value their customers!!!!

I bought the ZP120 to add to my current system of 5 sonos units and a NAS hard drive. I've had sonos in my house for about 5 years now and I'm just bursting with love for it. It always works all the time (well maybe one or two calls to sonos helpdesk when I've had issues, but they're great as well - anyone who has a cynical view of telephone / web helpdesks should get in touch with the sonos one to restore their faith in humanity / electronic goods.)I realise I probably sound like one of those wierdos who queues up outside the apple store for 2 days, but I'm not. I have many products I just live with or even hate, and I am generally very cynical about brand loyalty.Sonos is great. Very robust and stupidity tolerant (dont try shorting out the speaker terminals, but I have "a friend" who did and when "he " turned it off and back on again it was fine). Dropped the controller in the sink full of water - got away with that as well!Sound quality is great ( depends on quality of muisic and speakers obviously) but Sonos isn't the weak link.
