I ordered this having struggled to find anyone in the area (here in France) who would actually make up brake lines as the cost of kits is ridiculous compared to the cost of parts - you really don't have to do that many to get back the price of even one of the best kits.I was advised that the cheaper tools often didn't make a decent job of the flairs, and personal experience has confirmed this to me - especially when using anything harder than copper. As a result, I went for this tool (which had a good discount at the time on Amazon!) and I'm very pleased. The whole kit is very well made, inspiring confidence in terms of longevity, and makes excellent flares. Using a good pipe cutter (like the Draper Expert 10580 Tubing Cutter ) and taking a few mins to properly deburr and chamfer the end it makes perfect flares every time.

One of the best tool too make flare on brake tubing (available under different brands).But the one have received have two punches OP1 for 3/16" in place of one OP1(3/16") and one OP2 (3/16",1/4", 4.75mm).I've just see that after one month of onwnership when I would make my first flare on 3/16" tubing ;-(I hope Amazon.uk will correct this quickly.Thanks

very please well made came with all parts but the corrier left outside front door in full view of passing foot traffic lucky it didnt get taken
