Smart looking speakers and easy to set up, reasonable sound for the size - but - apparently no way to set them up as a stereo pair and the advertised remote control does not exist. On/off and volume control is on the back of each speaker.

Our sound system is in the lounge and it is a bit of a way to the kitchen. The first idea was to get another small system for the kitchen to listen to MP3, radio and old cassettes (yes, really). Instead these speakers are brilliant, for less than another system. Plus, not easy to get a good system these days for cassettes.The connection from the Audio Out on my system wasn't very clear, but using the headphone connection and the little transmitter (shoved behind the stereo, so out of view) I get excellent reception.Now I can play the stuff from the lounge, and listen in stereo in the kitchen. Or just pick up a speaker (or both) and use in any room. The only place the reception faded (actually it just disappears) was in the bedroom.Then, brainwave! I can use the headphone socket on the laptop to play stuff directly from internet radio or Media Player/Real Player/iTunes. This is brilliant! The best use of the system. A little bit of fiddling with the equaliser on the laptop and then the screensaver cuts in so the screen is blank, but it's pumping out the sounds to whichever room I need! The little transmitter is still behind the stereo, I just unplug it from there and reconnect to the laptop.Now, the speakers are in daily use. Cassette, radio, MP3, internet radio, anything and (almost) anywhere.
