The De'Longhi F26215 Deep Fryer is a convenient way to deep fry your favourite foods at home. This stylish fryer has exclusive matt chromed handle and lid release buttons and a 1 kg food capacity (requiring a maximum of 2.3 Litres of oil). The adjustable thermostat ensures you can select the most suitable temperature for cooking your food (from 150 to 190 degrees Centigrade) and the large clear viewing window enables you to monitor the progress of your food without having to open the fryer.

I recently purchased this deep fat fryer and I have to say that although it is among the cheaper versions, don't let that put you off.First of all it has a sliding temperature dial which is easy to use. The dials that you roll tend to stick, which happened all the time on my last fryer. There are different settings for cooking different types of food, i.e. fish etc. It has a push button mechanism to open the lid, The handle opens up and folds down keeping it tidy and out of the way when in use. I didn't find the handle as strong as the one on my previous fryer but it's still supportive enough. It has a large round basket is large and feeds a family of four with no problem. I make my own chips once a week and I was really pleased with how good the chips tasted. I have been using it now for 4 weeks and it is now I am thinking of replacing the oil. It has a non-removable bowl which is easy to clean. I thought I would miss the removable bowl but you just get used to it. It has no storage for the cable but it's not too long and is not bulky looking when out and stores nicely away.

We are using this deep fryer for over 3 months now (about 2 times p/week) and it works well. For that price it is the money well spent I think. We are using it mainly for the double fryed chips made from fresh potatoes and sometimes for spring rolls. So, we don't buy oven chips anymore, because the homemade are just too good. It is nice and easy to use and clean and tidy (no oil around) while you're cooking.edited:after one year - works well, cleaned once since bought it.

A very good deep fat fryer, fries chips to perfection. Only one small problem, there is no groove or spout to pour out the used oil.
