I love this watch. I bought mine from another source (not Amazon, but a certain flea bay) for eighty-nine pounds 3.5 years ago. These watches I believe are Samsung linked with German ownership. They are not Swiss watches in any way. The original Swiss Haas company went bankrupt many years ago and this is a modern resurrection that (rather shamelessly I think) trades on the original name. This watch is not in their current catalogue.My Haas watch has been a delight. I love it. All functions work, including the small dials (unlike many far-east fakes where these dials do nothing). The stop watch sweep hand has a very, very smooth micro movement and one could almost believe it is mechanically driven compared to, say, Rotary's Chronospeed (Argos) that takes one-second jumps. It keeps excellent time and the clean, light and open face is a delight to read for my fuzzy old eyes. The case, strap, etc. are very well finished and I love the Haas name detailing on it. The gold finish has not deteriorated one little bit - still looks as good as new after 3.5 years. The glass remains unmarked and I have taken no particular care over it. It looks splendid on the wrist (gold version). Mine came in a huge presentation box and it all looked like a £1,000 watch rather than the price it sells for.I am very content with this watch and still consider the price good value for money. It beats the pants off a whole range of mediocre £150 quartz watches from many high street jewellers.The only thing is, after 3.5 years of daily ownership the strap is beginning to go. So what? I tell you what: the buckle has Haas & Cie stamped on it, and I want my replacement strap to have that buckle fastened into it! That's how much I like this watch!The product / travel box may have changed in the 3.5 years since I bought mine, so treat this review as a guide only. I'm open to comments and questions if anyone wants to know more.

This was the perfect watch I was looking for. I bought it about six months back from here. It gets frequent compliments. Its a brilliantly rich looking watch. I love it so much.I took lots of care of this watch as it was my first watch in this price range. Havent dropped it even once. However, problems started to creep in slowly. First, the stop watch dial (the big one) began stopping on 6 seconds position after resetting. Few days ago, the Day pointer needle fell off completely, now its just rattling inside. I have not dropped this watch even a single time in its life time.The stop watch feature stopped working all together, and once the watch also gave the wrong time at one point.I am surprised how such an amazing looking watch could be failing me big time like this. I hate to be giving less than 5 star to this watch - but given the above major points maybe I really should give it 3 stars, however Im still gonna give it 4 for its amazing looks. I am finding it hard to believe it is a one-off product issue, but the whole workmanship of this is in doubt for me now. Unfortunately, I cannot think of an alternative watch that I would like in place of this and hope the guarantee will get it fixed / replaced.I will be contacting Amazon soon regarding this product. Great looking watch.

Very pleased with this watch, really classy - hallmark of Swiss high quality watches. Perfect for casual or formal wear. Looks several times more than the £80 I paid for. Am considering buying the black version.
