The bottom of each piece has been cleverly designed into a sphere, so when the piece is placed on any part of the board it can freely wobble and move. I first saw one of these in a shop in Chester and really wanted it but felt it was too expensive at the time. (It was about £300) When I went back, it had been sold and I didn't see another...This is really good value at this price and so now I am glad I waited! It's very nicely made and the Pieces are great if you wish to pause during a game and carry it to another room or simply put it out of the way, since all the Pieces are 'weighted' and 'wobble' and do not fall down.This is really nice quality, attractive and doesn't look cheap.I really like it!
