Have been using ours for nearly three months now and overall we're very happy with it. To be able to check on little one without disturbing him is extremely useful and it also gives us the confidence whereby we don't not need to run up and check him at every murmur. A simple check of the monitor enables us to see whether more attention is required or he's just a little restless. The picture colour and contrast have been easy to adjust to our liking and the infrared camera does an excellent job.We do get some picture and sound interference in different places through the house but the voice activation mode is very good and will activate the sound and camera at the slightest noise (which is good).The bad points:If you're intending to run this just off batteries at any point then don't even bother trying! We tried numerous different types without any success. The longest any batteries lasted was about 2 minutes! Consider it to be a mains only unit.The voulme has no visual representation of level so it is a bit hit and miss as to what level it's at. This wouldn't be enough to put me off the unit, but it could be better.The camera's positional adjustment is limited. It only moves vertically up and down (no side to side) and has meant we can't always get in in the ideal position, especially when trying to get close-up in the early days.Finally, I'm sure they could have designed a more useful stand for the monitor, I've lost count the number of times it's fallen over, especially as the mians lead always has to be attached to it.Anyway, despite the bad points, this is still a very good unit which we are really happy with and certainly glad we bought.
