Front compartment has magnetic clasp, also zips on both sides are undone to reveal the organiser section. Which contains storage for three credit/bank cards, mobile phone pouch, pen holder & a photo slot. There is a separate zipped compartment above organiser. Two main zipped compartments, one contains two internal pockets. There is also a zipped compartment at the back. Inside of backpack fully lined with Visconti embossed fabric. Length of shoulder strap adjustable. This really is a beautiful piece. Leather used is smooth, soft & rich in tone. Leather lightly padded throughout. We ladies carry loads of items in our handbags and usually we buy shoulder bags to help ease the weight. This is not good for back pain etc. and this backpack is smart and practical. The interior compartments are large enough for most items and the weight is spread across the back rather than on one shoulder. I would recommend this to anyone who is not averse to wearing their bag on their back.

Having carried a handbag on my left shoulder for as long as I can remember, and now experiencing shoulder and neck pain, my Physio told me to hold my shoulders equally down and bend them backwards. This bag makes me do exactly that and also frees both my hands for easier shopping! The pain is subsiding too.
