I purchased this to replace the original Ni-Cad battery which had suffered a long and lingering death. This replacement is excellent, it has its own power lead to recharge it, so no big charger required any more, lasts a lot longer in use and seems more powerful somehow. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a replacement for their original battery.
