Purchased this lens after trying out a few in the 'budget' bracket for my Canon 550d, including the Sigma and Tamron 18-200, Canon 17-85 and Canon 18-135. The range of this lens is perfect for what I want it for; an all rounder with a bit of a wider angle for scenic shots. The lens, for the £199 I paid is fantastic. It feels really solid, takes beautiful pictures, comes with a petal hood and a 2 year warranty.It has received mixed reviews from some pro camera websites but I think this is when it was retailing at £800. For the money I paid I feel its brilliant value and I am really pleased with the purchase and the service from Foto Palme.

I have a brand new canon 600d. There is a problem with the Tokina Auto Focus 16.5 -135mm f/3.5-5.6 AT-X DX Lens for Canon. It shows error message 01, clean contact on lense. The camera is fine with other lenses.
