This is the first laptop I have bought and it's fantastic. It was easy to set up and it works like a dream - really fast. the sound quality on the speakers is great and i had my first ever conversation on Skype with the inbuilt webcam the other day. It has Works but only a trial version of Microsoft word. It has a port so you can just put in your digital camera memory card and start uploading photos right away. It comes with McAfee Security which is also a bonus. So far I've had my laptop for a week and it's working great and I'm very happy.

Some time ago there was this specialists rating of lap-tops on MSN. The one name appearing at N2 after the notorious Macs was Toshiba. And I may well believe it.We have Satellite A300 already more than 2 years and it's fabulous. My husband just got THE lap-top, i.e. Mac Book Pro and any comparrisson is unthinkable, but when I consider other lap-tops, nothing beats Toshiba.It works wonderfully. It's fast. It's has big memory and on the whole, it's a quite smart little thing. It's massive and really professionally executed.At first I wanted to give it 5 stars, but it is not perfect. Somebody complained its fans are crap. Well, lap-topsdo get overheated. That's why we use coolers. Mine is Targus, which I bought cheap from Argos and all is well. Then, the sound could be louder and we had to reinstall the Windows. after which it actually got to work better than before, more than year after we had bought it.I'm really not a computer specialist, but one doesn't really need to know too much in order to recognise the good stuff.

I got this laptop for my daughter who was going to uni and I have to say... it's fantastic! It looks amazing and functions really well. I'm really pleased with it and would reccommend it.
