The Orthobed Pet Bed is manufactured by Karlie in Germany. This Pet Bed has been designed with Orthopaedic Memory Form, a high tec material which has been used succesfully in human medicine for several years. Memory form adapts top the build of the body and the body temperature and ensures an optimal release of pressure and highest lying comfort. Easy on the joints and relieve of the spinal column. Memory foam gets back consistantly its original form. Removable cover with 2 zip fasteners, is washable on 30c with a removable blanket due to velcro fastener. Bought the bed for my 12 year old cocker spaniel, he seems to like it - I was dubious at first thinking it might be a bit hard. Presently he is looking very comfortable and snoring away! Would fully recommend.

Although the picture is rather deceiving (dog possibly super-imposed on bed) this bed is excellent. The picture gives the impression that the support round the back and sides of the bed is quite high, however it only measures 13cm.Having said that the bed is fine and our 10 year old dog loves it. He fortunately doesn't have any health problems but we bought the larger bed for one of our other dogs who has hip dysplacia and as they occasionaly swap beds we thought they both better have one. It is very well made, keeps it's shape, not floppy and the raised base (12cm) is a great asset as it is off the floor and helps against drafts. We are very pleased with our purchase and would highly recommend it. Even the cat's like it !!

made very well but the sides take a lot of room from the inside of the bed so makes it much smaller
