Dyson DC19T2 replaces the DC19 Origin model, with a re-engineered floor tool to remove more dirt from carpets and hard floors. The body of the cylinder machine has three wheels to allow you to pull the machine behind you and control where it goes. The lightweight wand handle adjusts to the length you want and is made from polycarbonate plastic, which is extremely tough and durable. The variable suction option allows you to reduce suction so that you can clean curtains, upholstery or rugs without them sticking to the cleaner. Finally, on board tool storage helps store tools securely on the machine so they're always on-hand.

I bought this vacuum cleaner a few weeks ago after my 8 month old Russel Hobbs literally blew up...What can I say... It is by far the best vacuum cleaner that I have ever used. It works great on both carpet and hard surfaces and picks up everything!!! I thought my carpet was clean before I first used it and when I saw the results in the bin I was a bit shocked.I have read reviews where people complain about the length of the cord, but that was never an issue with me.5* from me I would recommend it fearlessly.

First:Forget the 'serious design flaw' mentioned in a previous review. Just MOVE YOUR HAND and you'll reach it with no problem. The design?As usual with Dyson, is superb and simple. Everything is made to come apart easily for cleaning, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to put it back together. The diagrams in the handbook are clear and concise, with no extraneous blurb to pad things out. The cable length 'issue'?I found 6 Metres to be enough to work with and not too long to get tangled up around furniture. Most houses these days have multiple wall sockets for the new fangled electricity, so moving a plug from one to the other is hardly the end of the World. You just don't need miles of cable any more. The performance? Well, what do you expect me to say? Dyson always delivers, and this vacuum is no exception to the rule.Is it cheap?No, but you knew that already. Dyson stuff will never be cheap because what you are buying is not 'just another hoover' but a superbly designed piece of work that looks cool, and will continue to look cool long after other machines are dust.There's also the matter of the five year guarantee, which says a lot about Dyson's confidence in it's products.I might add that I've just bought the AM01 fan. Nope, not cheap either, but it's the design that makes Dyson stand out from the crowd, and will continue to do so for as long as they remain innovators in their field.

I simply don't know why I have not bought a dyson vacuum before now.Easily the best vacuum I have ever owned - easy to put together, power beyond compare.The dyson sotwaways are exactly the same as the uprights (I checked this with dyson themselves before purchase).I highly recommend this vacuum.
