Excellent product & accessories included too
By CollieCottage
I saw this range advertised in the RSPB magazine. I did a bit of research on the web & also had a look at Bushnell's own website before making my decision to purchase.I'll start with the 'extras' which from the description I was not expecting: firstly there is a very substantial zip-around case provided, with room to store the shoulder harness (also included as a 'bonus' according to the Manual). Both the case & the binoculars have their own carry straps - the case strap is wider & padded. Now to the binoculars themselves: they have short straps ready-attached & to these can be attached either the long adjustable neck strap or the shoulder harness. The harness would be useful if you were intending to carry the binoculars for a prolonged period of time & would thus relieve pressure on the neck. The eye cups twist up & have a combined cover which can be attached to the carry strap; the objective lenses have individual captive covers which is very useful & makes sure they don't get lost. The eye cups also pull up for non-spectacle wearers so that your eyes are the correct distance from the lens. The initial focusing process is the same as most decent glasses - focus the left eye first with the right objective lens covered & the diopter set to 0; then cover the left lens, uncover the right lens, unlock the diopoter ring (just pull upwards)& focus the right eye using the diopter ring; push the diopter ring down to lock & you're done.I used the binoculars this morning & focusing was very clear - unfortunately all the birds had decided to have a lie in so I didn't actually observe very much avian activity! I wore the glasses around my neck for about an hour without discomfort & was surprised at how light they are. They are nice to handle too.

Wonderfully Clear Binoculars
By Chatelain
I bought these for my husband for his birthday and he is delighted with them, they were a little fiddly to focus in the first instant but once they were adjusted to his vision they were perfect. He gets a lot of use out of them. He is particularly interested in the birdlife where we live and they give him a really good and clear image. Excellent product, would highly recommend them.
