Yes it's expensive, but if you're learning to use an application it's really helpful to have the shortcuts printed on the keyboard. Compared to a standard Mac keyboard this has a much nicer feel and if you like to take an extended keyboard when you travel this will take hardy any space. It's really slim and easily slips into a piece of hand luggage. I use it with my Mac pro laptop when I'm away from the studio because once you get used to the extended keyboard commands the laptop is slower because those keys aren't there and this sorts out that problem. The shuttle express which it's pictured with is an optional extra.
