Great gadget, makes you want to find things to pack away into the freezer. One slight problem is that the suction is so good, soft fruits tend to 'bleed' and the juice gets sucked up into the machine. I solved this by placing a piece of kitchen roll just below the top of the bag to soak up the juices.Another minor irritation is that sometimes the auto sealer does not kick in when the air is sucked out and you have to press the sealer button to ensure the heat seal works. Otherwise a good product

Very good vacuum seal not like most that hardly take out any air this one will crush a coke can .... i've done it! only draw back is the sealer which is good on thick bags but too strong for thin, we like to reseal peas, bread etc. without using the vacuum and it can get so hot that a hole is created by the sealing bar but other than that a very good sealer, quite quiet, only go for sealers with a positive displacement pump "diapragm or piston" the noisy vacuume cleaner type pumps just dont work well enough.

This is a substantial machine,very solidly built, simple to use and includes the option for vacuum sealing containers (purpose made)It has a separate sealing strip that can be used without the vacuum which means that you can bag soups etc in sealed flexible containers ., for freezingvacuum sealer rolls are stored in A compartment built into the machine as is a built in cutter (a real boon)The product looks good on the worktopI have had previous dealings with this firm and found them approachable and honest-- I have no hesitation in reccommending them and their wares
