I love how fast it can move HD video from CF cards to hard drive, although the dual functionality doesn't help me when using Final Cut Pro with Sony plugin for it's flash recorder (MRC1K) - it only sees one card at a time.Also it crashes my MacBookPro sometimes when I eject it, even though I have unmounted it properly from the desktop.All in all though, a good buy.

If you want super-fast file transfer from your CF card, this one is for you. I've upgraded to this from a USB card reader and whereas in the past USB was the bottleneck, now you can transfer files a fast as your CF card is capable of. Be careful with the very long and thin connection pins though ...Installation is straightforward, hot-plug works fine (most of the time).The next step up from this will be Sonnet's QiO, which will set you back about £ 800.- so compared to that, it's a bargain ...
