durable and comfortable for (dry weather)long walks, they are still technically shoes so if you want a proper drink the doorman won't give you any trouble.disastrous in the wet weather, walking on wet grass will get your socks wet, also any puddles deeper than 5 mm. air vents on soles of shoes..
