3Too late!!!

Hori are 6 months too late! Where were you back when SF4 was released?Ordinarily, I would recommend the Hori RAP3 as it's a great stick, but there's no point in buying it now as the Madcatz Street Fighter IV Tournament Edition stick is currently over £30 cheaper & is superior to the Hori RAP3 (don't buy any other Madcatz stuff though as they're still cheap tat. The Tournament Ed Stick is the only good accessory Madcatz have made as it was overseen by Capcom).

4A good stick, and easy to modify.
By Dark_Eternal
This is a nice-looking and decently heavy arcade stick, great for playing fighting games instead of using a pad. :) I don't have much to add to the other reviews, other than to say that this stick may be a good consideration depending on the price. Though it's not quite as good as the Madcatz Street Fighter IV Tournament Edition stick OUT OF THE BOX, it's worth pointing out that - at present - it's considerably cheaper... and is pretty straightforward to upgrade.Since they both have Sanwa joysticks (as in actual Japanese arcades), the main difference (AFAIK) is that the SFIV TE stick has Sanwa buttons, whereas the HRAP3 uses lower-quality Hori buttons. However, the buttons are very easy to replace, with no soldering required; as such, whether or not it's better to get the SFIV TE stick or this one depends mostly on personal preference, and whether or not the SFIV TE stick is cheaper than the cost of a HRAP3 and replacement buttons. ;)The SFIV stick uses Sanwa OBSF-30 buttons, which (at the time of writing) can be gotten for less than £2 each. You could even be really fancy and get OBSF-30RG buttons, which cost more but are apparently much more durable. As far as I'm concerned, the HRAP3 then goes from 4 stars to 5, whilst potentially still being cheaper overall. So that might be something to think about! :-)

4Good but not the best
By Tman
The Hori stick is a good arcade stick with a good joystick and OK'ish buttons. The weight and top plastics is good, but the bottom of it feels a little cheap. It is good for fighting games, but the Madcatz Street Fighter IV Tournament Edition stick avilable on Amazon for less currently beats this hands down. Still a good stick, but at current price it is too expensive vs. Madcatz TE stick.
