Pros: Excellent tool to hone those chops and assist in the music creation department. The quality of recording is of a high level - i.e. some older style units had poor playback quality, presumably the sample rates had been skimped on to maximise memory. However, there is much, MUCH more to this unit than just being a clever looper. What you have here is an FX unit with amp sims - plus a complete band in a box with many music styles to choose from, which are excellent to practice with...i.e. you no longer need to worry whether you're boring the pants off your band mates with your endless solo efforts! I've not yet found the point where the memory runs out because of too many loops being layered.Cons: It looks a bit ugly in my opinion. Although I have yet to use it enough to fully evaluate it, my opinion is that it is not a practical live tool and so as a studio toy this may place it's £[] (approx.) price tag too high for some.Overall: This is not a straight-ahead looper (like the Boss offerings)make no mistake. A lot of thought has gone into making this a fun bit of kit with too many options to review here, but primarily it allows many creative options, with inputs not just from guitar but from keyboards, bass and vocals too (there's an XLR input). However, this is also it's weakness in that unless you're an absolute wizard user, this unit does not make sense as a live tool. Ignoring that though, it is one of the most fun creative tools I've bought for a long time.
