I used this Tens Machine as soon as my contractions started and gently increased the settings as the pain and contractions increased. There are different settings for different stages of labour. I went through my whole labour without any drugs (apart from gas and air) and I found this machine to be fantastic. I used it right up until I had to take it off to get into the birthing pool and could tell that it had naturally built up my natural pain releif/endorphines because I really noticed once I had taken it off. In fact I think it was more effective than the pool and with my next baby I think I will just keep the Tens machine on all the time and not bother with the birthing pool. I could not have done it without drugs if I hadn't had this machine. It is so worth the money, would recommend it to everyone!

Could not have done without this in the 1st stages of my labour. I had it on for a good 7/8 hrs ( 26hr labour) then kept it on with g&s, I didn't even have it at the highest setting so I later found out :s . When I 1st bought it I was sceptical but have stored it away safe incase I need it in the future. I would recommend. :)
