I bought it to upgrade a HP Pavilion 9500 with 2gb ram 533MHz.Fast delivery in good condition. Easy installation, passed the tests from the bios, everything ok.In Windows Vista 32bit originally installed from HP only 3 GB were recognized (I knew that will happen because of windows 32bit limitation). The difference in performance was not big, but it was noticeable. I haven't formatted or reinstalled Windows since purchase.For example the Firefox browser after a couple of hours was starting to get slow (the adobe flash plugin and some add-ons take too much memory), and now this doesn't happen.But because I wanted to take advantage of all 4gb I installed the Windows 7 64bit Ultimate version. The hard part was finding the drivers. After installation the difference was significant.It is as if I have put turbo to my Honda Jazz/Fit...Of course a new installation is always faster and Windows 7 are a little bit faster than Vista, but it's more than that. It takes full advantage of the capabilities of the memory. I am thinking of installing a Windows XP 64 bit version which is are lighter than Windows 7 but I can't find drivers.Definitely a good buy. Highly recommended if you think your laptop is getting old and you don't have enough money to buy a new one (like me)! I will buy in the near future an SSD HD (waiting prices to drop a little to buy one with bigger capacity) to give my laptop a further performance boost.

Very good 4gb ram memory. with very low latency (cl4), to improve my asus 1201n. This RAM is not made to overclock it's just to improve your laptop performance. 2 years with 2 gb ram and now with this upgrade I can notice the diference in games. However I changed the 5600 rpm HHD. With a 7200 rpm.
