I purchased this scanner for the ability to scan transparent materials particularly radiographs from my clinical practice. It works very well and the ability to scan many images at once is a great improvement on my previous scanner.The downside is the HP software which is not as good as the last issue. It won't leave my filing system as it is, but wants to put images into to its own chosen folder - a real nuisance.
