I bought this about 6 months ago after years of dithering whether to buy a small tiller or not, thinking it may turn out to be a `toy`I used to use a large 5 hp tiller years ago but now couldnt handle one of those. On getting it out of the box, I thought it looked a bit flimsy and light, read instructions, primed and gave it a go. It actually started on the second pull, dont forget to take the wheels off when you get it to your plot and fix the metal ` keel` thing that helps stabilise the machine in the soil. Have seen folk on youtube with the wheels still on wondering why it whizzes over the surface doing nothing! I used it in hard untilled soil, it bounced about a bit but quickly turned it to friable soil. In ready cultivated soil, weeds etc it is incredible, a seed sowing bed in minutes with just a couple of passes. You let it run forwards a bit then drag back, if you hold it back in one position it will dig down as far as the strong tines will allow. Digging in manure is so easy. It always starts first time and after years of briggs and stratton, sthil etc cord pulling this is so easy and its very quiet too and light enough for me to pick up. An expensive outlay yes, but if it saves your back!I only wish I had bought one years ago instead of that big tiller and doing all that back breaking spade digging. I am over 60s female.
