Product Description

The Scarpa ZG65 is a truly unique product. Not only does it have all the features of the new; standard setting; Zero Gravity range, but it also utilizes Gore-Tex XCR giving a level of performance that is more breathable than a normal boot. The ZG65 is lower cut than the ZG20 and uses materials for the upper that are light weight, durable, breathable and good to look at. The ZG65 is designed for walking and light hiking in more temperate climates where less insulation, but added breathability is desired. To keep your ZG65 boots waterproof and in good condition, we recommend that you use Nikwax Fabric & Leather proofing.

5Excellent quality pair of boots
By Nicholas Dorsett
I would thoroughly recommend these boots to anyone considering buying a 3 season boot.I have owed a pair for 3 years and they are as comfortable now as they were when I bought them. I have climbed many of the highest peaks of the Pyrenees in them and have never had a blister (using good quality socks helps too!)They work well with C0 (most flexible)crampons but being a 3 season boot your feet do start to get cold if you are on snow or ice for any length of time. They are light, give good support and the goretex liner works well in keeping your feet nice and dry. The toe and heel protectors stops scuffing to the boot material. The vibram sole gives very good grip in the wet and dry and it's tread pattern does not clog with mud.So all in all a great bit of kit that won't let you down.

4Great Walking Boots
By Mr. P. Langley
Very comfortable boots for Trekking or Hill walking. From the moment you take them out of the box the provide great comfort, as they don't have to be broken in like leather boots. The Vibram soles offer good grip on most surfaces, but wet granite will test their traction! I'd switch over to 4 season boots for the mountains or colder conditions. The gore-tex lining can be a little hot in summer, so if you are on a long hike I would take several pairs of coolmax socks, and switch over when they start to get damp, and clip your damp socks to your backpack to dry as you walk. I did get them very wet while crossing water, and they got very wet, so much for the gore-tex lining! Took a couple of days to dry, Only a couple of small faults though. Scarpa is a decent enough brand, and the quality seems good for the price. I would recommend them as a good starter boot if you are new to Trekking/hiking.
